Founded in 2008, The Good Pizza began its operation from a quaint corner in Westchester, a suburb west of Los Angeles, California.
Our superb Neapolitan-style pizza took the neighborhood by storm when we opened our doors to a mass of hungry pizza lovers, excited and
eager to try out the best pizza they ever had. The Italian pizza concept at The Good Pizza is just simply the best with our flavorful and palatable pizza
combinations made daily in a real brick-burning oven with fresh ingredients hand-picked daily by one of the owners. With the explosive taste,
tremendous freshness, and top quality, The Good Pizza delivers the real deal of gourmet pizza because we truly got our pizza mojo down and we
say no to cheap and tasteless imitations.
All the same, for the legions of Angelenos who have grown up eating pizza at generic pizza chains, our pies are made with the freshness brought
by Mother Earth straight into our humble 18” pie. Each pie is made with wholesome products and has real mozzarella, ricotta, or provolone cheeses
instead of the commercial grated stuff. We service a wide variety of authentic Italian foods: our pizza, pasta, and salads are made with the authentic
recepies from the Old Country. We proudly serve all and every dish to you with the entire Neapolitan attitude and because pizza was invented in
Naples and not in New York.
The Good Pizza has its own style. It is not comparable to the so-called New York-style pizza. The Good Pizza is simply UNIQUE.
Pizza lovers attribute The Good Pizza’s success to its use of fresh ingredients and consistent quality and a fun loving environment brought by
the two owners, Nando and Carlos.

Two extremely creative minds came together, exploring their dreams and facing their challenges, Nando De Stefano and Carlos Alvarado,
set up to explore the possibility of starting their own business – a place they could call home and they have certainly done it by creating
The Good Pizza.
Nando and Carlos met in 2000 in one of the hottest dining spots in Beverly Hills, Prego Restaurant, which at the time was in the zenith of the
L.A. fine dining experience, where The Who’s Who? of Hollywood’s A-List celebrities were seeing and wanted to be seeing. The young entrepreneurs
worked together for eight years in other great restaurants around L.A. catering to many celebrities in the like of Naomi Campbell, Mikey Rourke,
Sean Penn, Leonardo di Caprio, and Charlize Teheron. After, their personal and professional lives took them in different directions to pursue their
individual visions and they kept in touch. Carlos took up on portraiture photography and went on to show his amazing exhibits in renowned
gallery showrooms. Nando’s accomplishments took him to the top executive managerial position of one of Beverly Hills finest dining restaurants.
After a few meetings, the young entrepreneurs put together the idea of The Good Pizza, integrating their talents in the restaurant industry.
The entrepreneurial mavens wrapped up their dream when they founded The Good Pizza in mid April 2008.

Originally from El Salvador, Carlos’ family moved to beautiful Malibu, California when he was a young child. Since early childhood, he has always
been surrounded by family members who were in the food business and he developed the taste for good food early on. His interest for the arts
in the photography field has allowed him to travel around the world and discover new ways of living and enjoying different epicurean cuisines.
On one of his many trips to Italy, he discovered a new way of eating pizza – a truly catalyst moment that sparked his enthusiasm for Italian food.
He went on to work for great restaurants in LA, Malibu, and Beverly Hills, but he always had in his heart the wish to open his own place.
Now, this is the part where you come in and write up Nando’s trajectory. We are leaving this space entirely up to you and your vivid imagination.
